Birth Wise promotes wellness in pregnancy, natural birth and holistic parenting by empowering women and men to make informed choices.

Birth Wise (Wgtn) Incorporated was formed by parents for parents approximately 21 years ago.

After a year, Birth Wise began offering an antenatal programme, from which the current courses emerged.

Birth Wise is currently a voluntary organization run by awesome, dedicated people who are always keen for more input if you think this might be the community for you!

At Birth Wise we

• provide information that helps parents make informed choices for birth and parenting;
• recognise each birth as a unique experience; and
• provide parents and caregivers with ongoing support through two Birth Wise-organised reunions, coffee mornings, an informative journal, a network of parents, and an up to date website that gathers together people and information.

Birth Wise is based in Wellington, New Zealand.
